Gaelle e Elisabeth no Bate & Rebate - I

Ocorreu-me uma ideia baseada na curiosidade sobre diferentes perfumes para a mesma situação...E, pensei que, apesar de ser conta de mentiroso, o número sete relata as maravilhas do mundo, as cores do arco-íris e as notas musicais.
Porque não dividir esta página em sete místicos perfumes, ou curiosidades aromáticas, que exerçam sobre nós a sua magia...
Um bate papo ligeiro e despretensioso.
Para começar convido a amiga Gaelle redatora do blog Perfumes e Etc, que admiravelmente consegue conciliar a imagem competente de profissional graduada em Letras, MBA ( Master of Business Administration), com o lado materno e o de esposa dedicada, além da oferta de amizade confiável e generosa.
Como se não bastasse é uma sensível autodidata na Perfumaria.

1. Perfume que tenha marcado a infância...

Gaelle - Podem rir a vontade amigos, mas eu sou uma "criança" dos anos 70, do tempo da Vila Sésamo. Naquela época, minha mãe, após cada faxina tinha a mania de borrifar o então baratinho Seiva de Alfazema em todos os cantos da casa - o que marcou minha infância ( e me dava nós no estômago...rsss). Outra lembrança (gostosa essa) é a do cheiro do biscoito Mirabel dentro da lancheira.
Talvez agora vocês compreendam minha aversão aos fortes odores de lavanda e a atração às baunilhas suaves.

Elisabeth - Ah... sem dúvida os perfumes da minha mãe. Menininha, borboleteava em torno das roupas, lingeries, maquiagem, acessórios e perfumes. Desejava ardentemente crescer logo para ser igual a mulher que todos diziam ser tão linda - e era. Lembro-me do Chanel famoso, comentado e cobiçado. Consegui-lo só através de quem viajasse para "fora" ou se aventurasse no contrabando de cais de porto, em Paranaguá. Certa vez tentando alcançar esta preciosidade , escondida numa prateleira no fundo do armário (presumidamente a salvo de travessuras) consegui derrubar e quebrar. Nem conto a confusão que deu...gravada na memória.

2. Decepção perfumística

Gaelle - Foram várias, então falarei apenas da primeira. Os que me conhecem sabem que meu amor começou na pré-adolescência, com Dioríssimo. Adolescente fui testar Chanel nº 5 ( após ter lido que Marilyn o usava para dormir), que ficou simplesmente horrível na minha pele. Somente quando consegui por as mãos na versão eau-de-parfum ( apresentado e ligeiramente reformulado em1986), que carrega um pouco mais  no âmbar e na baunilha, ao fundo, sendo menos rascante e aldeídica, pude usá-lo com sucesso.

Elisabeth - Algumas também, mas com Eau de Mahila foi assim...namoro platônico de meses. Ninguém conhecia ou comentava e resolvi apostar no escuro. Aquela "Água de Mulher" deveria ser uma essência de doce mel, morna e delicada, para inspirar o mito da  sensualidade nas mulheres orientais. Desejei muito tal aroma no meu corpo, mas encontrei uma fragrância condimentada, madeiras rascante que pesaram na pele e no olfato. Bolhas de sabão a estourar...

3. Para lembrar momentos apaixonados ou apaixonantes

Gaelle - Muschio Oro ( almíscar dourado), de Santa Maria Novella. Adquiri um frasco durante uma viagem a Florença, que fiz com meu marido. Foi um dos momentos mais lindos que vivi, e a combinação almíscar/rosas, o aroma ao mesmo tempo "limpo" ( um leve odor de sabonete) e sexy, traz-me lembranças maravilhosas!

 Elisabeth - Uma jovem mulher vivendo uma paixão...na verdade duas, pois o perfume também era apaixonante. Momentos mágicos e perfumadíssimos até descobrir que uma inconveniente rinite ( dele) era alergia ao meu querido Mystere de Rochas. Mas verdade seja dita! Ele aguentou bravamente e só revelou a causa da alergia após  minha ( pequena) insistência ...rsss. Perdeu-se no passado, entretanto a culpa não foi do perfume.

4. Um perfume masculino que impacta

Gaelle - Apenas um, Betty malvada (rsss)? Ok, Green Irish Tweed de Creed. Acho-o extremamente elegante e igualmente versátil.tem uma aura de distinção despretensiosa, e a combinação de notas verdes e florais no fundo almiscarado e amadeirado, dá uma ideia de masculinidade suave e não agressiva. E, é justamente esta masculinidade "acessível" que impacta. Dizem que foi criado em homenagem a Cary Grant, e usado por Robert Redford, mas a imagem que me vem a mente é a de Fitzwilliam Darcy - trazendo Jane Austen a um contexto mais atual.
Na minha opinião Green Irish Tweed seria a fragrância perfeita para o herói de Orgulho e Preconceito.

Elisabeth - Hummm...eles despertam nosso romantismo não é mesmo? Por vínculo emocional deveria citar Azzaro. Foi o perfume predileto do ex-marido. Também minha predileção na época, que decaiu junto com o relacionamento. Hoje encanto-me com Declaration de Cartier. Aquele amadeirado doce é a combinação perfeita para um homem másculo que também tenha doçura. Que seja sério e ao mesmo tempo revele  humor leve, ligeiramente irônico. Se me deparasse  com um George Clooney usando Declaration certamente estaria frente a frente com um sonho de consumo...

5. O perfumista dos perfumes prediletos.

Gaelle - Betty não seja cruel comigo!  só um ?!! Christopher Sheldrake, Francis Kurkdjian, Jean-Claude Ellena, Sophia Grojsmann, Edmond Roudnitska ( 1905-1996), Jacques Guerlain ( 1874-1963, Marie-Hélène Rogeon...

Elisabeth - É verdade amiga...que saia justa eu arranjei! Também aprecio muitos. Encanto-me com a versatilidade, a variedade e o estilo! Vejo isto no percurso adorável de Edmond Roudnitska ( admiráveis idealizações para Dior e Rochas), em Sophie Labb capaz de criar Organza de Givenchy, em Michel Roudnistka com o fantástico Bois de Paradis, Olivier Cresp que nos presenteou Light Blue de D&G, Jean Claude Ellena e os primores Hermés e Cartier, Guerlain, Kenzo, Gucci...a lista vai longe.

6. Os perfumes prediletos.

Gaelle - Ops, são vários! Feminité du Bois ( Sheldrake/ Bourbon para Shiseido, sob a direção de Lutens e atualmente  relançado  em "roupagem"Lutens export); Bois d'Iris ( Ellena para The Diferent Company); Iris Nobile ( Kurkdjian/Francoise Caron para Acqua di Parma); o trio Fresia, Melograno e Muschio Oro ( Santa Maria Novella); Dioríssimo ( Edmond Roudnitska para Dior); Bulgari Pour Femme ( Grojsman para Bulgari); Aprés l'Ondée ( Jacques Guerlain) e Rose d'Homme Rogeon para Les Parfums de Rosine) ...também adoro notas amendoadas então acrescentarei Heliotrope ( de Etro) e Anastasia de Bourbon French). Que lista enorme!

Elisabeth - Ah sim, esta é difícil! seria mais fácil listar o que não gostamos. Para uso pessoal divido-me entre chypres, orientais e verdes aromáticos. Adoro Jolie Madame e Vent Vert de Pierre Balmain. Intensos, densos e frescos. Confortáveis! "Y" de YSL é um clássico imperdível. Rendo-me a doçura de Loukhoum -  Keiko Mecheri e a suave  feminilidade de Aoud Damascus - Montale. Também fui capturada pelo frescor cítrico e estimulante de Acqua di Parma, pelo conforto absoluto de Au The Rouge - Bvlgari. Não pode faltar o requinte de Organza - Givenchy e o bouquet maravilhoso de Diva - Emanuel Ungaro. Apaixonei-me por Bois de Paradis -Parfums DelRae ,  Elisabethan Rose de Penhaligon's e  Déliria - L'Artisan Parfumeur.

7. Aquele descontinuado que não pode faltar

Gaelle - Guerlain descontinuou a versão parfum de Après l'Ondèe. A versão eau de toilette tentem testá-la. É uma fragrância poética, simples e elegante. Um clássico.

Elisabeth - Mystere de rochas, chypre maravilhoso com resinas, madeiras , couro e ervas aromáticas. Euilíbrio perfeito  entre várias notas que despertam minha atenção. Quase impossível de achar.

Post Scriptum - Nelci Sampaio a conversa foi uma delícia. É reconfortante saber que mesmo tão longe, noutro hemisfério, além mar, tenho um nariz que se não é irmão é primo, e uma amizade que permite partilhar diferentes momentos, há tantos anos. Obrigada flor. Esta é uma "house" que sempre a receberá com carinho. Beijocas da Betty

Points of View
 An idea occurred to me, due to curiosity about different perfumes for the same situation...And I wondered about the meaning of the number seven carries. Seven are the wonders of the world, the colors of the rainbow and the musical notes.
Why not divide this page into 7 fragrances that have some magical influence on us?
An unpretentious chat about the precious bottles with their wonderful (or maybe not) aromas .
My first invitation goes to a friend, Gaelle of Perfumes &Etc, who combines the admirably competent image of a graduated impressive curriculum of a diploma in Portuguese, MBA ( Master of Business Administration) along with her role as mother and devoted wife. Gaelle is also a reliable and generous friendship. Besides, she's a great self taught person in perfume matters.

1. A perfume that has marked your childhood...

Gaelle - Friends, you may laugh, but I am a "Child" of the 70s, when we had the TV series "Vila Sésamo" going on. At time, my mother, after cleaning the house, used to sprijkle " Seiva de Alfazema" ( a cheap eau de toilete) all over in the house that smell marked my childhood ( and gave me some stomach upsets. Another memory (a pleasant one), is of the smell of " Mirabel" cookies in the the lunch box . Perhaps now you'll understand my dislike of strong odors of lavender and my attraction to soft vanilla ones.

Elisabeth - Ah.. no doubt my mother's perfumes! When a little girl, I would get lost among clothes, lingeries, makeup, accessories and perfumes. I really wished to grow fast to become like that woman who was said to be beautiful - and was indeed was. I remenber the famous, desired and criticized Chanel nº5. Only those who traveled abroad or were brave enough to face smugglers in the port of Paranaguá could afford a bottle. Tryng to find such a treasure, hidden in the depths of the wardrobe (and supposedly safe from us) I knocked it down and had it broke it. I have no words to tell all the mess I caused..it1s still recorded in my mind!

2. A perfume deception...

Gaelle - There were several, but I'll talk only about the first. Those who know me know that my first perfume love was Diorissimo in my early teens . As a teenager I tried Chanel nº5 ( after reading that Marilyn wore it to sleep), which was simply awful on my skin. Only when I could get a hold of an eau-de-parfum bottle ( launched and slightly reformulated in 1986), wich carries a bit more on amber and vanilla as base notes, being less bitter and aldehydic, I could wear it successfully.
 
Elisabeth - Also some, but with Eau de Mahila it was like that...A platonic love affair for months. Nobody know it and I decided go for it blindfolded. That " Eau of Woman" carryng that Oriental feminity appeal should be a sweet honey essence, warm, delicate to inspire the natural sensual image of oriental women. I wished to have that scent in my body but I found a spicy fragrance, bitter woody was heavy on the skin and spoiled the smell. Soap bubbles popped...

3.To remember fascinating moments of love or loving ones...

Gaelle - Muschio oro ( Golden Musck), of Santa Maria Novella. I purchased a bottle during a trip to Florence, I made with my husband. It was one of the most beautiful moments in my life, and the combination musk/rose, the aroma both "clean" ( a slight odor of a soap) and sexy, brings me wonderful memories!

Elisabeth - A young woman living a passion... actually two, because the perfume was also fascinating. Magic and fragrant moments until realizing that a disturbing rhinitis ( his) was due to some allergy caused my beloved - Mystere by Rochas. But truth be told: he was strong and only confessed the the real cause of this allergy after my ( somewhat ) persistence ( laughs)...he was lost in the past but it was not the perfumes's fault!

4. A masculine remarkable scent...

Gaelle - Only one? Your'e cruel Betty!!!! Okay, Green Irish Tweed from Creed. I think it is extremely elegant and versatile. It has an aura of unpretentious distinction, and the combination of green and floral notes in a musky wood base carries some idea of masculinity that is gentle, not aggressive. And it is exactly this "accessinle" masculinity that makes it remarkable. The say it was created in homage to Cary Grant, and worn by Robert Redford, but the image that comes to mind is that of Fitzwilliam Darcy- bringing Jane Austen to a more up-to-date enviroment ( laughs). In my opinion, Green Irish Tweed is the perfect fragrance for the hero of "Pride and Prejudice".

Elisabeth - Hmmm.. They awake our romantic side don't they? because of an emotional bond I should mention Azzaro. It was my ex-husband's favorite perfume. I also liked it at that time, but the liking vanished along with the relation ship. Today, I enjoy Declaration of Cartier. That sweet woody scents is the perfect combination for a male who also shows tenderness. For a serious man that at the same time reveals some light humor, some what ironic. If I met George Clooney wearing Declaration I would certainly be facing the perfect combination.

5. The best nose behind your favorite perfumes...

Gaelle - Betty don't be cruel to me , ( laughs)! Only one ? Christopher Sheldrake, Francis Kurdjian, Jean-Claude Ellena, Shopia Grojsman, Edmond Roudnitska ( 1905-1996), Jacques Guerlain ( 1874-1963) and Marie-Hélène Rogeon.

Elisabeth - It's true friend..I put you in a catch! I also appreciate many. I'm fascinated by the versatility to create many olfactory families keeping a personal brand. Style! I see figured by Edmond Roudnitska ( adorable idealizations such a Dior and Rochas); Michel Roudnitska and the fantastic Bois de paradis; Sophie Labbé was able to create the seductive Organza by Givenchy,  Olivier Cresp that among many gifted us with Light Blue by D&G. Jean Claude Ellena  and beauties Hermés and Cartier; Guerlain, kenzo, Gucci... the list goes on...

6. The Favorite ones...

Gaelle - Oops ! There are several! feminité du Bois ( Sheldrake/Bourdon for Shiseido, under the direction of Lutens and currently relauched in Lutens export "packing", Bois d'Íris ( Ellena for The Different Company"). Iris Nobile ( Kurkdajian/francoise Caron for Acqua di Parma), the Trio Fresia, Melograno and Muschio Oro ( Santa Maria Novella), Diorissimo ( Edmond Roudnitska for Dior), Bulgari Pour femme ( Grojsmann for Bulgari). Aprés l'Ondee ( Jacques Guerlain) and Rose d'Homme ( Roseon for "Les Parfums de Rosine")... I also love almonds notes, then I'm adding heliotrope ( by Etro) and Anastasia ( by Bourbon French). That's a huge list!

Elisabeth - Ah yes...this is a difficult task! It would be easier to list those we do not like.
Personally I take turns wearing chypres, orientalsand  green aromatics. I love Jolie Madame and Vent Vert by Pierre Balmain. They are intence, dense but with comfortable freshness. Uniques. "Y" by Saint Laurent is a refined unforgettable classic. I'm surrender by the creamy sweetness of Loukhoum  by Keiko Mecheri and by the soft feminity of Aoud-Damascus by Montale. I'm also captured by freshness of the citrus and stimulating Eau Acqua di Parma, by the absolute comfort of Au Thé Rouge Bvlgari. Can not miss the  refinement of Organza Givenchy can't be forgotten the wonderful bouquet of Diva by Emanuel Ungaro. I fell in love for Bois de Paradis- Parfum DelRae, Elisabethan Rose-Penhaligon's and Dèliria L'Artisan Parfumeur.

7. The discontinued one that can't be missed...

Gaelle - Guerlain had the parfum version of Aprés l'Onde discontinued. Try to sample the eau-de-toilette version. It is a poetic fragrance, simple and elegant- a classic.

Elisabeth - Mystere de Rochas wonderful chypre, with its resins, woods, leather and aromatics herbs. A perfect balance between all the notes that attract my attention. Practically impossible to find it.

Nelci Sampaio, this conversation was a delight. It is delightful to know that even so far away in another hemisphere, across sea, there is a "nose" that if no brother of mine is its cousin, and we are sharing a friendship that give us nice moments.
